TERMS AND CONDITIONS

*PERSONAL TRAINING POLICY:

Thanks for investing in the RI Shape Challenge; we appreciate your focus and dedication to achieving your goals and look forward to a great training relationship. Please take note of the following terms and conditions that will create the foundation and guidelines for your
training time with the RI SHAPE CHALLENGE.

PAYMENT TERMS:

CASH PAYMENTS - will only be taken on registration or at halfway assessment days.
EFT PAYMENTS - can be made directly to RI SHAPE. (Please note: do not pay any cash to trainers at different classes as we do not want to mix personal clients up with RISHAPE participants.)

PAYMENT PLANS - Participants who wish to do a Payment Plan may do one of the following plans:

  1. R950 on registration, R950 on halfway assessment.

No assessments or before photos will be taken unless paid in full or payment plan is in place prior to the challenge.

*CANCELLATIONS – HEALTH CONCERNS:

Ri Shape has the right to cancel a timeslot if less than 8 people select that session time at registration.
Prior to, or during the course of your training, health concerns may arise that need further input from your doctor, physiotherapist or other allied health professional. RI SHAPE may request your assistance in obtaining that information. Please be aware that your trainer cannot diagnose and/or prescribe treatment for any form of injury, disease or other medical problems.

*REFUNDS:

No refunds will be given for cancellations, illnesses of injuries.
If you are unable to continue your challenge due to medical reasons, you will need to submit a letter from your doctor restricting exercise; your sessions will then be frozen until you are able to return to the next RI SHAPE challenge. A refund will only be generated in extreme cases where the condition the client presents with is beyond the scope of RI SHAPE.

*GENERAL:

You are in control of your workouts! If an exercise is uncomfortable or painful, or if you want to stop for any reason, you may do so. If a particular exercise is painful for you to do or you have an injury or other limitation that makes it difficult for you to do, the trainer can substitute another exercise to work that particular muscle group. Clients are encouraged to drink plenty of water during the workout. You do not need the trainer’s permission to get a drink or go to the bathroom! You will get from your workouts what you put in. The trainer will show you how to work your muscles correctly and encourage you to go to your safe limit, but whether you reach your goal is ultimately up to you. You are the only one who can make sure you work out consistently (missing workouts is a guarantee to get nowhere!) Eat properly, rest enough, and live a healthy lifestyle.
PLEASE NOTE: Should a client breach a term and condition they will receive a letter from RI SHAPE detailing this breach. Please understand that this is a business relationship and as such we need to adhere to the guidelines in place.
